‘In Parenthesis Teach’, the new film Gritty has made for Welsh National Opera, premiered in the Wales Millennium Centre based on the poem by artist David Jones about his experiences during WW1. The screening was attended by 180 children from five schools who made the film and had a live accompaniment by WNO violinist Stephen Crichlow. The music was composed by Helen Woods based on musical themes by the children.
